This is not a Bible study, It is training

Most Christians have access to Bible content — sermons, podcasts, devotionals, study notes. Content is not the problem. What's missing is a structured method: a way to approach any passage of Scripture and understand it correctly before applying it.

"Reading with structure is a skill. Skills are built through practice, not just information. That's what this programme is."
Teaching

Short, structured lessons on the method

The 12-week programme teaches you that method. Each week is structured around four elements:

Practice

Interpretation exercises on real passages

Live session

Group discussion and guided review

Written work with structured feedback

Submission

What changes over 12 weeks

Where you Start

— Confusion when reading Scripture

— Guesswork in interpretation

— Surface-level reading

— Dependence on others' explanations

— Insecurity handling the Bible

Where you Finish

✓ Clarity through a structured method

✓ Confident, contextual interpretation

✓ Narrative and genre awareness

✓ Independent engagement with Scripture

✓ Ability to explain what you've read

What the programme covers

Week 1 - 2

Why confusion happens, what structured reading is, and the difference between reading and studying Scripture. Establishing the framework before the method.

Foundations — what biblical literacy actually means

12 weeks of structured, progressive training. Each stage builds on the last. By the end, you can approach any passage of Scripture with a method — not a guess.

Literary and rhetorical analysis
Week 8 - 9

Genre shapes interpretation. How to read narrative, poetry, prophecy, law, and letters differently — and why reading them the same way produces misunderstanding.

Week 3 - 4

How to move from what a passage meant to its original audience to what it means for us today — without distortion, without overreach, without guesswork.

Responsible application
Week 10 - 11
The S3 Framework in practice

Story, Setting, Style applied to passages across multiple genres. Practising the entry-level method with structured exercises and feedback.

Week 5 - 7
The Contextual Method — the core system

Understanding the overarching biblical narrative. Historical and covenant context. How to read within the story of Scripture, not against it. This is the intellectual backbone of the programme.

Integration and independence

Bringing the full method together. Demonstrating interpretation competence across different genres and testaments. You finish able to approach any passage with structure and confidence.

Week 12

Who this programme is and isn't for

  • You're looking for a devotional, an encouragement group, or a Bible study circle

  • You want to consume content passively without active participation

  • You're looking for quick answers rather than a transferable method

  • You're not willing to do the work — the exercises, submissions, and live sessions are not optional

  • You've been in church for years but still feel biblically under-equipped to read Scripture independently

  • You read the Bible regularly but struggle to explain what you've read

  • You want structured learning, not more inspiration or devotional content

  • You're ready to submit work, receive feedback, and practise week by week

  • You want to reach the point where you can interpret Scripture without depending on others
